Training

Pariscribe training programs are developed and executed by our knowledgeable staff for all our customers. Training, documentation and follow-up are key to any successful deployment of our products. We are geared towards getting staff confident in going digital for the first time or when transitioning from an existing system.

Pariscribe supplies all staff with quick reference guides tailored to their individual roles with a workflow-based approach for practice and clinical tasks. Additionally a complete manual is provided for a broader integrated understanding of all processes. Training sessions can be provided in either individual or group settings. These sessions are preferably performed on-site with staff, but can also be conducted off-site or remotely via teleconference.

Deployment

Infrastructure – Clinic groups that assume operational responsibility of the physical server will deploy them in the office or remotely in a data centre. Pariscribe can assist in the design and implementation of a strategy for key design elements of an appropriate infrastructure such as system back-up and fail-over or secure networking. Your practice is a real-time environment and protecting your patient data is a priority. Depending on what infrastructure you currently have, there are additional items that you may consider purchasing beyond Pariscribe’s server. These items may include workstations, label printers, document scanners, magnetic card readers. In addition, your office will need to be connected to the Internet, and additional phone lines may be required for faxing, billing and labs access.

Maintenance and Support – Ongoing maintenance is critical to ensure that the system and your practice it supports continues to run smoothly. Pariscribe provides support that includes telephone and email support, annual software updates and 24/7/365 emergency coverage that is tracked and resolved with a formal support methodology.

Training – Both practitioners and staff will require specialized training to enable them to efficiently and correctly use Pariscribe applications. You should plan for a minimum of staff training consisting of two two-hour sessions to train on system functionality and an additional session for billing processes. Practitioner training can consist of two three-hour sessions to cover basic usage. Additional training can be arranged should the comfort level of practitioners and staff require it. Pariscribe staff will also be on site for the “go-live” date to provide additional support to staff.

Data Conversion – Most established clinics move their patient demographic information into Pariscribe. Some clinics will additionally move other data such billing histories, appointments and schedule histories, or their electronic patient charts. Conversion can be a complex project, and Pariscribe will work alongside the client to understand what is to be converted and what it will look like when incorporated into Pariscribe.

Professional Services

Pariscribe is more than a software company. Within Pariscribe’s service portfolio, we offer several different services beyond the software implementation.

Technology: Leverage the experience and industry insight held by Pariscribe staff to assist in the evaluation, planning and execution of a clinical IT project. These projects are with fully-accredited companies such as Hewlett-Packard for fast and supported technology delivery.

Operations: Pariscribe systems provide numerous features to increase efficiency through automation beyond that recommended for a successful initial installation. Pariscribe professional services can assist with this technology introduction when the practice becomes ready, without significant interruption of day-to-day operations.

Data: Regardless of the technical platform, the data generated by practice management and EMR software can be very valuable and requires special consideration. Pariscribe professional services have the staff and tools to successfully delivery health data projects. This can include codified EMR element conversion, financial data analysis tools and enterprise resource planning.
